I love Amber so much! My experience having her as my doula was absolutely amazing.. i honestly can’t say enough positive things. she turned my birthing experience around, and I’m so blessed i was approached with the opportunity to have her join me while i was in labor. From the second she walked in she made me feel heard, comfortable, & SAFE! Even more, that didn’t end after i gave birth! We keep in touch. She wrote a birth story for me to keep and even texted me on my son’s birthday. Amber was a ray of sunshine to work with! She left room for a lot of autonomy even when it came down to weekly motivational texts. We both learned a lot during my pregnancy. She was always punctual when we met for meetings and Dr visits, and whenever I didn't feel comfortable doing a doctor's visit alone, she was willing to go with me. She checked in regularly and made sure I was staying on track with the important things and helped with my birth plan. She really helped with carrying the pregnancy load!

My doulas were second to none!! Wowww! Mahogany Joy is a mother-daughter duo that had everyone on our floor raving! I was very active in labor from walking to squatting to bouncing to lunging and much more because they kept me moving. They also helped me relax and stay mentally at peace. These ladies gave me massage, set an ambiance in my room, and never left my side. When I looked around my room at 3am and saw them sleep in chairs, I couldn't believe they stayed and weren't leaving (even overnight) until I had Baby K.

My sweet doulas (now friends) did a post party visit with us today. If you have ever been on the fence about hiring a doula for your birth, think no more and DO IT! They are the main reason I was able to have an unmedicated birth that was enjoyable and memorable. They kept me in the zone, grounded, and didn't let me spiral when things got intense. They even wrote out my birth story and laminated it for me so I have all the details of that day that I would have otherwise forgotten.
